This is a free percentage calculator, and it asks very little of you. Here is exactly what happens to your data.

The short of it

Every sum runs in your browser, on your own device. The numbers you type stay there, there is no account to make, and closing the page leaves nothing behind on our side.

What the server sees

Only the routine request record: an IP address, the page and the time, your browser's user-agent, and any page that linked you here. It keeps the site running and helps catch abuse, holds no name, and is cleared within about a month.

Cookies and counting

Block cookies and the calculator runs the same, since it needs none. Anything we set only keeps the page working or holds a small preference, and any visitor counting reports totals rather than tracking a person.

Ads

There are no third-party ads here for now. If we add them, they may set their own cookies and see your IP, so we will name them and link their policies first.

Your rights

You can turn down non-essential cookies. Under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA you can ask what personal data we hold and have it deleted; we keep no profiles, so there is usually nothing to send, but do ask.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS and is kept patched. Nothing online is perfectly safe, but there is next to nothing sensitive to protect here.

Children

This calculator is meant for a general audience. It is not built for children under 13, and we do not knowingly gather any data from them.

Changes

Any update shows on this page with a fresh date, and a real change we will state plainly.
